Thanks, I know what you mean scaleyback, it needs to dirtied up a bit ( I made sure I didnt clean the gear after its first time out) as I dont exactly look like a hardened soldier whose been on the line for weeks....

The boots are starting to look better though, not the bright tan suede rough-out boots that I started with!

i spent 3 hard skirmishes crawling throught dirt to get my 101st load out to look right . came home the monday after the third one to find the good woman had washed it all. ( she bloody well washed my blancoed 37 patt webbing too, the effing woman is washing machine mad lol lol )

Mine is trained not to wash anything airsoft or re-enactment related... :)

Certainly sounds like it.. Rachel is very happy for me to look after my own stuff.

It really started when Sanjay's JGs lost a load of dye when they were washed and ruined a sweatshirt I had just bought. Since then she's been more than happy for me to look after my own combatty stuff...

However my mum is a different matter... she continuously tidies up and would probably wash my stuff to death.

:rofl: , our louise is a trained chef, so everything is cleaned within an inch of its life and sterile . old habits die hard.

Yeah my mum used to be a Home Eco (etc) teacher and was trained to cook sew etc... must be the training.

Mind you she also went to a private school run by nuns... Sounds like basic infantry training to me... Hospital corners and the like!

At this point i had only just finished the load out, but i can tell you it got a hell of a lot more filthy as the night roled on :D

do you have a china soft mp40 back up? i will be using the tommy gun ( got more mags for it ) but will have the mp40 as a back up.you cant go wrong for 130 quid.
